Sherwood Clubmark update!

Sherwood are nearing completion of their ClubMark status with the news that our Evidence File has been signed off by the Kent Cricket Board. All that remains is a successful site visit which will take place during June and the submission of our Club Development Plan. We are aiming to be one of the first 50 clubs in Kent to attain ClubMark status. This will significantly help the Club raise the standards of cricket and strengthen the Youth section by recruiting girls and boys of all ages to join the club and enjoy this wonderful game of cricket.

Sherwood to play in Kent 6-a-side Colts Cricket Championships.

Sherwood Cricket Club's Youth section will be taking part in the Kent 6-a-side Championships at the St. Lawrence Ground, Canterbury during August. This will involve the U11's, U13's, U15's and U17 squad players.

Sherwood announces formation of Sunday 3rd Team

In a commitment to improving Youth cricket and to aid in the transition from Youth to Senior Cricket, Sherwood Cricket Club are proud to announce the formation of the Sherwood Bowmen, Sunday 3rd XI team. The team will consist of a combination of Youth and Senior members with the aim of playing 40 over cricket games against local clubs. "This will aid us in helping our Youth players transition to Senior Cricket much faster" said Tony Rossiter, Chairman Youth Section. "We are delighted that the club has endorsed this approach with the full support of the Senior and Youth players alike."

Sherwood announces two U15's teams

Sherwood CC is proud to announce that this year

we will be entering two U15 teams into

the Medway Youth League. This shows

an ongoing commitment to the youth

section and a desire to have all youth

members play cricket during the season.

The names of the two teams will be

announced in due course.
