Dan Boorman sets two club records
Dan Boorman, has set another club record following
his 207 not out against Sevenoaks Vine 3rd XI on 24th May 2008. On
the 16th August 2008, Dan broke his second club record with the most
100’s scored by any member of Sherwood CC, the 22nd of his career.
This season has seen Dan notch up a massive 954 runs so far, with a
record high of 207 not out and an average of 68.14 runs per innings.
He has two 50’s and four 100’s so far this season and represents
30.4% of the runs scored by the 1st XI. As for Dan’s bowling
figures, he has taken 18 wickets this season from 84.3 overs with a
best of 4 wickets for 18 runs. I am sure we will be seeing more
records set by Dan over the coming seasons. Dan has been playing for
the senior teams at Sherwood since 1994.
